It is disgusting and repulsive, but not horrifying. Hanger is not a shock horror classic such as Evil Dead, NOTLD, Re-Animator, Friday the 13th, or Toxic Avenger. It is not as good or fun as Gutterballs. FX-master Nicholson provides constant nasty effects and props, but little story and substance.
