They performed very well together having almost all the scenes with both actors. It was amazing to see Hines, such a great dancer as well, portray a pariplegic without even the slightest hint of leg movement and D'Onofrio portraying a blind person without going over the top. Also very interesting to see D'Onofrio transform from an overblown ego, pro football player to a bitter, lonely man. Great movie in that yes it had very touching moments but a lot of great comic moments as well." Too good for Mortals! This is the story of two misfits who together don't quite ever make a whole... but who are delightful to tag along with. It's really hard not to get caught up in their adventures. Right to the final scenes, it's just too funny! The secret to the film is that it is composed of characters that are every-day folks, and don't we really enjoy watching ourselves?
