The series primarily took place in a part of NYC not far where I grew up and I related to many of the characters in both my family and personal life. Sadly, both discs present episodes from what must be nearly the end of the run where the family was trying to assimilate and moved to the suburbs - kind of "The Jeffersons" in reverse. Most of the charm was gone, though it was nice to see the actors again. I wish the description of the contents would have made clear what was being presented. Not kitschy in the slightest, This is high quality TV which sure beats today's "reality" garbage!"
