This is Gladiator Challenge, it's kind of the minor league for King of the Cage... and if you do well you can get picked up by Pride/UFC. Since it's a minor-minor league they're more amateur fights. They last longer and the cameras don't always get the best shots. Submissions are great when they get them! This set is hugely long, at just about 7 hours and 50 fights.

I occasionally watch octagon fighting, and I've actually trained under Dan Severn but focus mostly on Judo. Despite that, I found this volume to be rather well produced, though they didn't have perfect camera angles or the best quality. The fighting is not the best, which makes the fights last longer and the submissions are normally pretty messy. All in all, it's a good volume, there are some good fights, nothing spectacular, and the techniques are about par. This is definitely a quantity over quality situation, and the quantity is enough to consider purchasing."
