"Okay, okay, I know. Of the more than 6 billion people on earth only a few thousand would grace this film with 5 stars. But, I can't help myself. You see, I am one of the few thousand who live near Astoria and Lewistown, Illinois. I recognize the businesses and know some of the actors. This is a low budget film that few people will ever see, but I sure enjoyed watching it. You might want to take the other reviewers more seriously. I cannot help but respond with a bias."
GREASY SPOON

"The main problem with this movie is it never seems to know where it's going: is it a ghost story? Or is it a social statement? Although it has some lovely scenery and okay fx, the movie is so melodramatically slow, it doesn't achieve a whole lot. Lauren Sinclair is weak in the lead; Brian McNamara is wasted; Lincoln Fitzpatrick is a bore; and most of the supporting cast is vapid. Also, would a gun loaded with gunpowder still work after 100 or more years? Three stars for trying to be original."
