I can see some modern Mesa amps onstage, that I think he's plugged into. Not sure but I'm guessing he is using different amps from the old days, becuase it's just not there. The other guy playing lead sounds good, but Goeorge's tone isn't right. I can't really blame George (he may be half deaf, for all I know, with all touring he's put in), but someone, with some hearing left, should tell him to go back to what he was using in the days he recorded these fantastic songs. His guitar is lost in the mix and what you do hear is a bit harsh and grainy. Where it used to be warm with just the right amount of grit. Too bad because his guitar is so important to the music. Otherwise he's still got the vocals, the camera work is good and picture quality is fine. I would rather see the interview stuff in a seperate extras section. I'll be looking for another older DVD of Thorogood. Sorry I started with this one. It's lackluster."
