Movie ReviewsThe intrigue continues... sinisterLemon | Edmonton, AB Canada | 02/27/2005 (3 out of 5 stars) "Things are starting to get tougher for the Geisters with the plot developments in v.2, as the team is forced to endure intense training sessions, and survive a deadly ambush.
We also get to see more of the back story of Chris Vesta and discover her decision to join the military and the House of Juno. All in all the series is developing fairly well, with enough mystery to keep me interested in continuing on. The highlight of this volume definitely has to be the cat and mouse chase between Alcion and his ambushers amongst the strange landscape of the "crystal jungle". Again, the fact that this series is very inexpensive compared to other anime titles is a bonus since the producition values might be seen as a little rough by some. Hopefully things will continue to improve as the series progresses. " |
