They seem like a real family and the situations are everyday life things but they make it funny, touching, sad, there is usually a message too. The characters are really good, they are all very believable and funny and the kids are sweet, especially Michelle. My sister and I liked all the episodes from the second series until the end, the first one not quite as good, as the characters are still being developed and Michelle is a baby and can hardly speak. Altogether it is relaxing to watch and a nice thing to do after school, when travelling because its easy and like joining this little family so it feels kind of safe.
