This dumb-as-dirt movie, shot in South Africa by a mostly German crew, posits that befriending that weird girl in the back of your psychology class is a bad thing to do. When our heroine takes pity on the goth girl on the back row and accepts her friend request on Facebook (or a reasonable facsimile thereof), the sudden deluge of messages from her new friend causes her to unfriend her new besty, which leads to the odd girl’s suicide. As our heroine's friends begin to die, disturbing videos start showing up on her timeline, which causes her to (horror of all horrors) begin to lose all of her Facebook friends.
