I've watched mass quantities of British comedy from my childhood days on up. This series ranks right with the upper crust of them. The writing is way above the usual fare and the laughs per minute ratio is excellent. Easily accessible for most folks and tastefully done. You will most certainly have no regrets about watching. This one is a real pleasure to behold. I would go so far as to say it is wholesome and comforting.

There's a set 1 and 2 available which covers all 4 seasons (although I think there is a Special which is missing.) There's a sequel series available as well, titled 'French Fields,' which I've yet to see.
