Atieh has a passion for food and she runs a small restaurant on the Caspian coast of Iran. It is her pride and joy. Suddenly, Aziz, her fiancé of twenty years earlier makes an appearance and she and her friends believe that he has come back to close the restaurant. Atieh decides to make some of her favorite dishes and serves them to him in an attempt to get him not to do so. It is all great fun and what surprised me most was the level of comedy here. It is an old-fashioned movie with a lot of charm and fine acting. Through food we get a portrait of Iran that few ever get to see.
