Jason Bateman and others shined in this and it shows a different side of life where some don't think before acting. Ben Affleck plays a pretty laughable and role he likely regrets play and you might just mistake him for a bigger version of his brother, Casey. He plays Joel, a factory owner with multiple problems. Does he sell the factory built up from a special formula he developed for enhanced "extract" flavorings to the competion and get out from under his hum-drum life? Does he ever make it home before the 8pm cut-off....when his wife (played by Kristen Wiig)dons her "no-sex sweat pants"? Does he listen to his druggie bartender friend (Ben Afleck with a beard!) and consume Xanax to fix his life? Plus throw into the mix a sultry Mila Kunis who plays a sexy young woman who is scheming to grab the brass ring by way of the boss OR the factory worker who is minus one of his two most important body parts! And the nincompoop man-whore poolboy! And the neighbor who practically lives at the end of Joel's driveway! A "hoot" from beginning to end! |
