Evil Roy Slade - Pretty good for a 1972 TV movie, even by today's standards. Some very good humor (co-written by Garry Marshall; directed by Jerry Paris). Also stars Mickey Rooney, Henry Gibson, Dom DeLuise, Milton Berle, and Pat Morita. Unaccredited parts played by very young and upcoming stars Ed Begley Jr., Penny Marshall, and John Ritter. Slade has quite a reputation as an evil gunslinger of the West, but falls for a law-abiding beauty (Pamela Austin). Can he change his ways to win her affection? There must have been 500 gunshots in this movie, most at close range, and only one person manages to get struck by a bullet!
Brother's O'Toole - A decent movie, but not as good as Evil Roy Slade. This one is a little more serious. It's about a case of mistaken identity in a nearly derelict western mining town and how that man tries to revive the town.
