Movie Reviews

Wish I Could Have Been There!
D. Alexander | Bowling Green, Kentucky | 02/15/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"What an experience it must have been to witness this performance in person. Andy William's stage presence and the addition of the London Symphony Orchestra made this DVD outstanding. Mr. Williams covers a wide range of material here and does it with ease. The interview segments between chapters were nice and allow the viewer to gain some little nuggets of personal information and trivia. I was amazed when he stated that early in his career he did not like performing! I'm certainly glad he had a change of heart.

The DVD appears to be composed of two different performances, but I'm not sure. The second performance actually appears like it should have been the first, but it may have just been an editing snafu.

The DVD quality does leave much to be desired. The video is VHS quality and the audio is a little scratchy at times, but with the price and number of songs included here I don't think anyone would complain too much.

Definately glad I made the purchase and Amazon delivered quickly as usual. I don't think anyone would be sorry to add this performance to their collection."
Wonderful!!

"This live performance in England is wonderful! Andy did shortened versons of many of his hits as medleys in order to perform a wide variety of other songs. His vocal quality (at about age 50, I believe) is excellent. I saw him in Vegas around this same time period, and this show at Royal Albert Hall reflects the same warmth and excitement I witnessed in person. If you're an Andy fan, you must have this."

"One of the greatest singers of all time. The DVD was excellent and the Recording was superb. I guess you can tell I think Andy Williams is a marvelous vocalist. P.S. You can understand the music he is singing."

"What can I say? I've been in love with Andy Wiiliams since--well a long time. I own 4 VHS videos, 3 DVDs. amd 35 vinyl records---I saw Andy 3 times here in Las Vegas, and oh yeah, I own 4 Cassette tapes. Andy at Royal Albert Hall DVD is an upgrade from a recorded from PBS television in the 1970's....need I say any more??? "its my happy heart you hear..."
