DVD transfer too far zoomed in

"The DVD transfer cropped off actors heads, short-changing
visual nuances and award winning cinematography. Good example of
how script and final editing make or break a performance or film.
The female lead, Irina Bjorklund, won the Academy Award for
Best Actress overseas in Finalnd after many successes there. She is
famous throughout Europe. This is her first American film.
It's an eerie character study of the effects of schizophrenia
and not at all the gory slasher the poster makes it out to be.
Gorehounds will be greatly disappointed. Beware.
Best seen on VHS, NTSC version available in America."

"Paul is an aspiring ventriloquist who, along with his dummy sidekick Tommy, is a hit with the ladies. But when Paul's friend Donna discovers the sinister truth behind the duo's off-stage relationship, Tommy takes matters into his wooden hands in this terror tale in the tradition of "Dead of Night" and "Magic". Writer/director Keith Singleton and Irina Bjorklund star,
with a love scene so hot your TV will explode!"
