However, this DVD is average at best. I'm surprised that it was created in 2003, because the directing, camera work, and organization of the DVD are lacking. At times, the camera work felt more like a low budget music video, as opposed to a professional instructional DVD. Experienced drummers will be able to get something out of the DVD, but I was hoping for a little more insight. I think the premise is that you already own the book, Drum Set Crash Course, so you can follow along with the DVD. This offering could have been much better if Russ had worked with Hudson Music. There are many other instructional drumming DVDs that I would recommend over this one."
