Right at the beginning I realized this movie was a winner spiced with a 'spaghetti western' style of presentation. P J Hogan's humor is laced through out it while Kate Winslet's class carries the story. An undercurrent of morality is kept interesting by the FUN and outrageously glamorous outfits that brighten the dusty town setting. I wouldn't say this was everyone's cup-of-tea but for those who enjoy an excellent spoof and delightfully different movie, I am much challenged to find a better example. 2 of 2 member(s) found this review helpful.
