"This anime is based on the popular hentai computer game called Dragon Knight 4 that came out in the early 90's. For what it's worth, the producer managed to compress a long role-playing game into 125 minutes of gorgeous animation within the fantasy genre. Far from being an hentai version of Record of Lodoss War, Dragon Knight: Wheel of Time spins its own intriguing story with top notch character design and fun characterisation. The colour, sound and video transfer are all good, but the 2D cell animation technique is starting to show its age. I would have given it a 5-star if not for the fact that I purchased this product based on the wrong specification. This product is actually the M15+ rated 100 minutes version, instead of the Unrated 125 minutes version. That is essentially 25-minute of hentai scenes cut out to make this title more commercially viable. While sanitizing the anime from such scenes does not affect the quality of the story much, Amazon should really correct their specification here because it is misleading."
