"If you like campy, independant horror flicks, you should enjoy this one. Not too cheesy and not too serious- The acting is pretty good and the special effects are decent. The storyline is fairly well-developed for a movie of this nature. I thought the ending was very good. Also reccommended: The Seven Doors of Death and The Dead Hate The Living."

"Michael Druxman has created a great ride for his audience with "The Doorway." A great thriller mixed with black comedy. A welcome rebirth of the scary films of the 1950's. Don Maloney brought a comedic break to this supernatural thriller which made for a great balance. I found "The Doorway" to be a very entertaining independent film. It's a great addition to my existing film collection."
Cheesy Friday Night Fun!

"Well, what can I say. I am going to try to be honest here. I guess I could be biased because one of the actors is my brother. "The Doorway" is your typical cheesy b horror film, but has flashes of intelligence. Its more of a black comedy and takes a few interesting turns. The characters actually try to think, and make some wise choices, ie running out of the house when an evil demon comes after them. They only return to the house by force fromoutside people. The acting is decent. Some stronger than others. And the effects are reasonably effective. You could do worse on a Friday night. Add "The Doorway" to your cheesy b horror film night, it'll please."
