Now, I do love Birelli and think Babik is very good, but this isn't the style of music by the great Django Reinhardt....Nor does it mention anything about Django. The title is misleading, and there are only 2 tracks of very "modern" jazz guitar "beebop" tunes... If you are looking for gypsy jazz and the true Django sound, best to stick with people like Lolo Meier, Tchan Tchou, or Stochelo Rosenberg Trio." |
