It has enough suspense and mystery to keep you wondering and

(4 out of 5 stars)

"With the collapse of Communism in Poland, the people who formally had power now fear others finding their dirty deeds. "Dismissed From Life" is about a group of former intelligence agents who want to silence a man who they fear will cause them trouble. They beat him to death and leave him in the trash yard, where he miraculously lives, but with amnesia.

The tension brews as he tries to survive and outwit the group that attacked him. He befriends an exocentric older woman who, at first, probably did not realize what she got herself into by helping him. I found the drama and suspense blend into a thriller, building tension and captivating the viewer. Quite easily, the strength of "Dismissed From Life" is that it has enough suspense and mystery to keep you wondering and glued to the screen. It is a serious film likely to be appreciated by all that love dramas.
