I did. Young couple David and Dana move from Brooklyn to a southern mansion with their 5-year-old son looking for a fresh start; however, Dana's discovery of a secret room unleashes unexplainable events that slowly reveal the home's terrifying past. Director D.J. Caruso Starring Kate Beckinsale, Mel Raido, Gerald McRaney Googled phrase turns up this: Disappointment rooms were sad facts of life in the 19th century antebellum South. These attics, basements or purposefully modified rooms were used to keep physically or mentally handicapped family members out of public view.
