Member Movie Reviews K. K. (GAMER) Reviewed on 9/6/2020... No comparison to the original classic Hit Dirty Dancing with Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey.  Jorge S. Rewatched this over the weekend and have to say, I think this movie doesn't quite achieve success MAINLY because of its two leads...Diego Luna is a good actor, don't get me wrong, but unfortunately, he seems miscast here, and hardly has Swayze's captivating dance skills...and as a Moderate Latin dancer myself (I hold my own pretty well..lol), that's saying a lot. The actress looks and acts like she was cut out of a slice of bread. She CANNOT hold a movie on her own. The highlight of this film is DEFINITELY the soundtrack (yes, I own it) and gets 2 stars on that alone. Bottom line, you're better off revisiting the original Dirty Dancing. Sharon C.
