Member Movie Reviews Kendra M. (KendraM) from NASHVILLE, TN Reviewed on 2/14/2008... The synopsis here is a pretty good review of this film. However, this is absolutely not a comedy at all, despite the box design which may lead some to believe it is a comedy and despite the listed genre.
It's a good drama, however. And, like all dramas, there are comedic elements-- such as in life. But, no. This is not a comedy. Jeremy Sisto is wonderful as always-- charming and charismatic. Paige Turco who has been seen in smaller parts, but never as the lead, is good, too. The late Adrienne Shelly has a small role and, although she's perfect in everything else I've seen her in, she does not really elicit too much sympathy here even though her character is supposed to be seen as immensely sympathetic. This is a good movie, if not a memorable one, and I recommend it to those who like these "slice of life" type films.
