"We bought the Set 1 to see how my 2.5 year old would like it and he loves it, so we bought the second set and he is glued to the show. It teaches good morals and are short enough to fill when we do not want him to watch a full movie and are short enough to keep their attention. With all the junk on TV today, you can buy these good time less shows. Are more shows coming??"
The Good Moral to the Story is....

"If a good show teaches it's done the job well. That's what Davey and Goliath show did for me when I was a kid. Every Sunday I watched the program cause I loved the talking dog, Goliath. Doesn't that get a kid every time there's a talking animal around. It's ashame they don't have good animation that teaches a good message to kids. The kind that teaches them good morals, loving your neighbor, how important it is to care about our world and not giving into peer pressure. Each episode is based on the biblical principles of God.
This contains eight episodes and are short in time length. So, it doesn't take a long time for the little ones to watch. The stories are to the point and don't take alots of time to get the message across. The shows may be a little 60ish decade but their lessons are timeless. If you're going to give a gift of entertainment to a child then I'd recommend a great ministering teacher like Davey & Goliath."

"Are you tired of your kids watching animation where everybody in the show gets blown up, shot or smashed (but none of the characters ever dies)or everyone has some sort of magic power & incantation? Then these DVD's are your ticket to an entertaining (but not mindless)kids show. The DVD's have eight 14 minute episodes which deal with topics such as sibling rivalry (Lemonade stand),hostility towards immigrants (The Shoemaker),community responsibility (Good Neighbor)& child safety (Chicken). My 2 kids (4 yrs & 14 months) both like to watch these DVD's. My oldest child actually is learning traits which will help her later in life (such as paying attention to danger signs, self-worth, etc...)by watching these shows. There are 64 episodes of this show, & almost all of them are available on either DVD or VHS. If you grew up watching these shows (as I did) you'll enjoy the nostalgia effect and your kids will get a kick out of hearing you say (in Goliath's voice) "I don't know, Daa-vey"!"
Wonderful, moral show for children!

"I used to watch this show all the time when I was a kid. Its been over 30 years since I have seen an episode but I can still remember some of this show and its beautiful theme song, "A Mighty Fortress is Our God." This is a show your children will love and should be encouraged to watch. It teaches good morals and God's principles. Too bad there aren't more shows like this!"
