"I'm not very good at telling you why I like music but Daniel O'Donnell does a good job on all types of music. He sings on key and I like that. He dresses very well, is clean shaven and has a great smile. He has great stage presence, moves about the stage very comfortably and gets the audience involved.
Mary Duff is just great. I like the way she works the crowd too and her many wardrobe changes with beautiful dresses, in good taste add to her presentation. Donald and Mary sing well together. They have great chemistry.
The recording also had several top entertainers including Pam Tillis, Charley Pride, the Gatlin Brothers and a couple others and I thoroughly enjoyed their presentations. I might even end up buying a Pam Tillis CD one of these days. She is very talented and really relates well to the audience.
The band of Donald's is always just great and I really like the symphony ochestra backing up his band. A great combination.
The only reason that I did'nt give it a rating of 5 was the lighting on stage. I think the background lights should have shown up the band, orchestra and backup singers should have been highlighted more. Also, this could have cut down a little on the panning of the audience.
I highly recommend the DVD for all country and oldies fans.

"Daniel O'Donnell, from County Donegal, Ireland epitomizes the "real" country, the "real" easy listening entertainer. This Branson project is among the best of Daniel O'Donnell's performances. His easy going voice makes you feel comfortable and at home. Not only is his voice pleasant, but his entertaining stage style makes you want to be one of his many fans! He constantly sells out all seats in Branson, MO. Many of his fans come from the U.K. and Ireland and stay a week or two to see him in Branson because tickets sell out within two hours of being offered overseas. This video is one of his best, you will not be sorry that you bought it! Check out the songs...if you are over 40 years old, you will like this video even more...familiar songs abound!"

"I received this DVD today 4/12 and have hardly moved from my chair in front of my TV. I love what I have seen before of Daniel but this one takes the prize. There are many numbers with Mary Duff and they are outstanding. If you like Daniel then you must have this one. Perhaps you saw him on PBS last
year - I only caught a glimpse as I flipped channels but that glimpse hooked me. I will treasure this DVD and probably wear it out. Yes I am over 13, fact is I am over 73. How I would like to see him in person - probably won't happen but I have the next best thing. What joy I am getting from this man's music and from Mary Duff and from the shows - did not think it was possible at my age."
Criticism but still 5 stars

"Yes, I would have to give the DVD 5 Stars. Daniel and Mary Duff were at their finest and the two will always be favorites. However, I thought the camera work wasn't 5 stars. Too many times it missed the special little moves that Daniel made, while instead panning thru the audience. Too many audience shots; I didn't buy the DVD to see the folks in their seats. Somebody should have turned the lights up when Daniel introduced the band members. They were in the dark! I guess somebody was there! The camera work from his Ireland concerts was superior. O.K., I don't mean to sound negative, these were only a piddlin' few thoughts I had. I still would recommend "Live From Bronson" to anybody who likes MUSIC."

"I saw the live tv show on public television New Year's Eve, and was totally blown away by this performer. I had never heard of him but decided to record him anyway on my Video Recorder....
I can't wait to get the whole show without the 'Pledge' interruptions on DVD!"
