Member Movie Reviews Gabriele C. from LAKE WALES, FL Reviewed on 5/25/2013... this is a movie , based on a book with the same title . its a bit hard to explain , but there is a book out , published by marshall pickering/eerdmans /collins/dove that is an illustrated telling of pilgrims progress by john bunyan . a VERY good adaption for children , albeit it has some scary scenes . this movie is based on this book . you could call it a visual audio book , as you see all the pictures from the book and someone reads it to you .
