The action and suspense was entertaining but it was Hollywood too so be careful what you want to believe. Zero rewatchability or a keeper for a collection.

Don't waste your time on this movie. Read the book.
I read the book prior to seeing the movie, loved the book.
Having said that shouldn't the movie be easy to follow if you have read the book which posed no problem in following?
You would think with a great book to work off of, two top notch actors in each of their respective countries, and a great director in Ron Howard that this would be a great film. Instead it seems like all three just needed a quick influx of cash. I beg you to fore go this film experience and look into each of their careers to find much better films. Check out
Audrey Tautou in Amelie which is a wonderfully made movie. I am sure you have all seen Tom Hanks in something much more worthy of your time. And Ron Howard has made some great films over the years any one of them being a much better representation of his work.
If you are a mainstream movie watcher who doesn't enjoy the finer art of film making then you may enjoy this heaping pile of crap. I expect better from you Ron Howard. Maybe this was too big of a project for the film medium. But we all saw that Peter Jackson pulled off the Lord of the Rings, arguably one of the largest film projects adapted from a book.
ps. Tom Hanks played this part awfully. He was nothing like the character was in the book, and whats with the mullet?

This movie held my attention from beginning to end! Comes with an extra dvd including 90 minutes of the History Channels Beyond the DeVinci Code that was very thought provoking.
