"I bought seasons two and three of COUNTRY STYLE USA on dvd a couple of years ago at the same time and reviewed the third season shortly thereafter. Now I'm finally posting a review of season two (never did buy season one, just too many DVD goodies out there!). As with the other seasons, this is a collection of thirteen B&W 15 minute episodes of country music circa 1958 that was a weekly program "sponsored" by the U.S. Army. The episodes all open and close with the song "Stay All Night, Stay a Little Longer. Charlie Applewhite is the host for every episode except for the final one, in which Richard Hayes substitutes.
