Be warned though, only buy this movie if your're a SERIOUS Ted V. Mikels fan or a serious B-movie fan because it's shot on video. Although I feel this gives the movie a wonderful B-MOVIE feel some disagree with me. The acting (some would say), to put it in a simple word, .... Which is harsh, but I guess for their standards it's true. The effects are cool, the movie is awesome, good clean fun! The commentary on the dvd is wonderful as well as the TRAILER feature which lets you check out a couple of Mr. Mikels' other films. If you haven't seen THE CORPSE GRINDERS (first one), no need to worry, as everything is spelled out for you. If you haven't seen it. Watch the movie first, then check out the trailer for THE CORPSE GRINDERS. It's pretty neat! Also on the dvd is a FANTASTIC and well informed MAKING OF featurette. So, if you're a fan of B-movies, Z Grade horror, independant films, Ted V. Mikels, or all of the above (like myself), sick back, relax and enjoy yourself. Because it's not everyday that a 20+ year old film gets a sequel! Also be on the look out for MARK OF THE ASTRO ZOMBIES! That's right folks, a sequel to the original ASTRO ZOMBIES!
