Canadian series, filmed entirely in Saskatchewan. Corner Gas was created by Canadian comedian Brent Butt, who imagined what his life might be like had he remained in a small Saskatchewan town rather than pursuing stand-up comedy. During it's run Corner Gas received six Gemini Awards, and was nominated almost 70 times for various other awards. There are six seasons (107 episodes, also currently available on Prime) in the can, a 2014 movie, and a 2016 animated series. Not one weak episode to be found. Genuinely funny, a bit dry, and quite a bit of this is actually high-brow. Well worth your time! Guaranteed. 1 of 1 member(s) found this review helpful.
