Not based on a true story but felt like one. The beginning was a bit of a drag and some other parts. Director/Actor Redford should have cut thirty minutes off the overly long movie of over two hours and it would have been much better.

I am old enough to recall when the Weather Underground made the national news and this movie made me curious enough to look back into those days of upheaval in U.S. history. Star and director Robert Redford leads a star filled cast including Susan Sarandon, Sam Elliott, Nick Nolte, Richard Jenkins, Stanley Tucci, Chris Cooper, and Julie Christie. A standout performance by Shia LaBeouf as a young ambitious reporter who figures out just how the pieces tie together making Redford’s character, Jim Grant/Nick Sloan a prime suspect in missing persons from past criminal activity. Now Redford is on the run from his distant past! Fantastic casting makes for an exciting film!
