This movie sounded like it would be good. This movie ws terrible. Terrible acting and ridiculous from the beginning. It starts off with the family being in a subway with no one else, with nothing but blankets and a lantern. In a real life apocolypse scenario i highly doubt you would find a car with the keys in it and a dead person with a gun next to it. Hmmm why wasn't the car taken by the killer and the gun taken? Why did half the people in the movie who were found dead have no blood on them? Why when they were looking for food to survive and going through cornfield did they not grab some corn to eat? How can a man take apart a gun and clean it in a matter of seconds? Why when a family is scrambling to survive a girl be worried about shaving her legs? The writer of this movie did not know much about guns. This movie is perfect for anyone who would want to know exactly what Not to do in an apocolyptic situation. This movie is best for using as a target for target practice.

I really tried to give this one a chance but it would not work.
Poor acting from the beginning in a quite plausible framework. The whole government collapse idea is fine if it is done well. This is not.
Poor attention to detail also. One guy hands the other the revolver and tells him to leave the safety on. Maybe they are making some new kind of movie guns but I have never seen a revolver with a safety.
Do yourself a favor and skip this one. I did.
