A teen drama with ...SUPERPOWERS! Despite having its share of dialogue, the movie was never boring, you genuinely care for the characters and considering the budget around $12 million (compared to $200+ mil for a movie like Avengers), the special effects work and PROPEL the story rather then distract (ya listening Lucas?..probably not...lol) The climax simply blew me away and had me at the edge of my seat. Very high recommend!! Regarding the BluRay: Don't expect this to have superior BluRay quality picture like other recent releases as the movie is filmed via digital "handycam" as if a teenager were filming the whole time, but the SOUND excels and was shaking my subwoofer plenty! 4 of 5 member(s) found this review helpful.
