They're Back! Amos Lassen Those two loveable gay gays, Chris and John, are back with us after spreading their charm helping gays across North America. They go from city to city and find ways to both become involved in the GLBT community and help those who need it (from being matchmakers to party planners to being go-go dancers and more). "Chris and John's Road Trip" (Alluvial) consists of six episodes that take place in different places. In episode one, they make it to gay pride in Erie, Pennsylvania where they meet Dan, a retired figure skater and fix him up with a date. In London, Ontario (episode 2) they become part of a pride fashion show and in episode three they go to the Cedars campground where each takes it upon himself to manage the campaign of a contestant in the Miss Cedars pageant. Looking for the trekkiest trekky at the Toronto Trek is the focus of episode 4 and in episode 5 which takes place in Ottawa, John finds a date for Chris. Finally, in episode six, they help Connie to plan and hold a lesbian wedding. The guys are cute and full life and the exuberance of youth. DVD extras include audio commentaries, deleted scenes, an interview, a feaurette, "Queer Fright Night Marathon" and a photo gallery. " |
