A classic that many love with many stars you know but could not get into it.

I read a review by someone who said this must have been over his head. I agree. How this movie could have possibly won 6 Academy Awards including Best Picture is totally beyond me. Catherine Zeta, and Renee are stunning – what a waste of their talent. The movie itself is exceptionally well done technically, but it is written totally sleazy.
Some movies have a great story and are badly made, some are made extremely well with a lousy story, I don’t know which is worse. This one falls into the category of the latter.

Sleazy, but entertaining sleaze with very catchy songs. I would not recommend this as a family movie or for preteen entertainment. But it was fun Teen Movie Night fare.
