My children are small and very funny

"We are Disney Channel people so it is always refreshing when they add a new series to their line up. We were instantly drawn to Charlie & Lola. My children are 1/2 and 1/2 (British & American that is) and we love to see a bit of Daddy's culture & accent on the show. The animation is creative and the lessons are appropriate for 2-5 year olds. Often we will ask our daughter (3) what would Lola do? Our son is only 17 months but he still watches with our daughter. We log onto their website to play their games and print out pages to color. It's a great little show and we love it."
Kids sit transfixed in front of the screen

"My two and a half year old sits mesmerised at Charlie & Lola, he asks for it continuously and has even started to speak with an english accent which I am sure wont last! One thing worth mentioning is that even with it on in the background, for some unusual reason, none of it begins to be annoying to adults and it can be left on in a loop safely without fear of danger to parent's sanity.
He took it into his day-care and displayed it proudly to the other kids of similar ages (My 11 year old sits equally transfixed at this DVD and at the younger one's attention span!) and the staff there reported similar interest with all the kids there."

"My granddaughters love Charlie & Lola. They are just spell bound when it is on. I would recommend their DVD's to any child it's a well done learning tool."

"What a gem this show is. What a rare find....a cartoon that is educational, sweet, funny, appeals to both boys and girls, appeals to parents, and is not the typical, seen it once, its annoying now, kind of kid show. The characters are just so likable. I love the positive "brother-sister" relationship, and we enjoy their British accent as well. Our kids wanted this as thier birthday "theme", so we had the Charlie and Lola, plates, cups, pinata, and so on. Also love the Charlie and Lola books. Great literacy tool. Chances are your local library, or your kids school library has a few of these around. I would say for AGES: 3-7 . By the way, if you don't find this show pleasing, you must be one of those parents who prefer their kids watching the nutty, garbage that dominates the air waves these days. Too many parents let thier kids spend hours viewing garbage. Just because something is animated doesnt mean its appropriate for children. Guard your childs eyes and ears. Childhood is so brief, guard it and savor it like a good parent should. Pink milk for everyone......."cheers"."
