From 1967 to 1978, The Carol Burnett Show on CBS delivered one hour of consistently high quality entertainment. This variety show was a favorite in my household growing up. From a wide range of musical acts to Carol and team's wonderful skits - many recurring - this was top notch television in an era with much competition. A real standout due to the actors and the writing.
