This one made me wonder if she was crazy or just dreaming. Excellent movie. I love this actress, she makes all of her roles seem so believable.

I have to admit that this is one of my favorite psychological horror movies.
It stars Rachelle Lefevre ("Stephen King's Under The Dome")(who apparently replaced the late Brittany Murphy in the starring role at the last minute), as a young woman terrorized by a string of increasingly ominous phone calls on a an old-fashioned phone that was left behind in the apartment she moves into. It seems these calls are being made by a psychotic woman looking for her ex-boyfriend. The twist? The calls are coming from years in the past.
It was filmed on a low budget on location in Puerto Rico in a rundown neighborhood that gave it just the right amount atmosphere. Miss Lefevre and the rest of the cast did an excellent job conveying mounting terror.
f you like a movie that gives you chills and scares you into not wanting to answer the phone ever again, this is it. It contains no sex, gore and minimal violence and is what a true horror film should be (instead of a Slasher film, which should not be confused with true horror).
My only complaint is that several key scenes were edited out that definitely should have been left in to move the story forward and explain it a little better. Be sure to watch the deleted scenes after (or maybe before) the movie itself and you'll see what I mean.
A definite gem!
