Member Movie Reviews Don F. from MADISON, WI Reviewed on 1/17/2011... This movie is an adaptation of a stage play and it looks it. For what it is, it is well done. The acting is of a style of the time and the direction is straightforward. Bogie has very little screen time, but his performance is solid. Definitely worth seeing. Unfortunately this Mandacy release is quite sub-standard. The picture quality is not great and the sound has a very noticeable problem. You have probably seen a film where the movements of the actors' mouths are not quite in sync with what you are hearing. Sometimes you can't tell if the sound is ahead of or behind the images. But in this case there is no question. The sound is out of sync by three and half seconds. Tough to watch, but worth the effort. 1 of 1 member(s) found this review helpful.
