Apart from that for me - living far away from the US - this DVD presents a living and vibrant potrait of the music being made in this country which I can't find so easily over here (Germany). Saying that I really found a new favourite in the Tight Phantomz but also the more or less one dimensional performance of Shellac is a real ear catcher. The other tracks are a bit too much folk and country oriented - not my absolute favourites but still new and interesting. The camera team really did a great job in banning the fantastic atmosphere on film during the performances. The sound of the this DVD I think is much better than on the BTS 1. Enjoy listening and watching. " |
