"Having actually spent 3 of my college days with Mr Kennedy in 1993 showing him around Austin,TX, I had never heard of his first album The Great War of Words. It was during a visit to the local waterfall and collapsed cave Hamilton's Pool I first heard his unbelievable voice echoing off the collapsed cave walls. I quietly then looked for and began collecting his music. His studio albums are great, but sometimes fail to capture his live talent. Since I am somewhat disabled and now live in the Pacific Northwest, I cannot often travel catch him in a live venue... Simply put-- This DVD fits the bill....buy it, buy it now."

"I first heard Brian Kennedy through a cameo appearance in the Irish film called This Is The Sea, starring Richard Harris, Samantha Morton, Gabriel Byrne, and John Lynch. He was the singer in the pub where Hazel and Malachy secretly meet. I immediately fell in love with his voice and searched all over creation in the US to find his recordings. Then, he was a featured singer in Riverdance On Broadway and his records became available. This is the first one that I purchased because I loved the live set in the film and I was not disappointed! This man has an amazing, pure, counter-tenor and I often get goosebumps especially when he sings acapella. What a lovely instrument God has blessed him with! I would recommend ANY of this man's records just to hear that amazing voice!"
