I love this movie. It is one of my favorites and I love that I can now share it with my daughter.

This was a huge disappointment for me. I'd heard so many positive comments about this film, that I was sure I would love it, but it was not to be. There is little discernible plot. My companions and I were left wondering when the movie would "get going", so to speak, and it never did. The lead characters are unappealing - the male lead because he'd dull and free of personality, and Hepburn's character because she's an awful, spoiled, selfish little person with no regard for other people. I did not find her charming in the least. Well-dressed? Yes, of course. But that doesn't make up for the rest of her, including her thoughtless animal abuse. This overly long, poorly-written film has somehow inexplicably come to be considered a classic, when it is quite clearly an unmitigated dud.
I think the popularity of this film is due to Hepburn's fans being unwilling to admit that she could participate in a disaster. Sadly, she did and this is it. Go to this movie for style tips, but nothing more. Don't waste two hours of your life. It will feel like four and you'll regret it!

Graceful and charming, a True Lady, Audrey Hepburn shines in this film as she plays Holly Golightly, a madcap young girl in Manhattan who is searching for "Mr. Right" (who just happens to be right under her nose). She plays this part with such strong virility that you can't help but be swept up in her over-eager (and potentially disastrous) way of living. Five stars all the way!
