Movie Reviews

Suprisingly good movie.

"The reviewer who says this movie is supposed to be about Britney Spears' road to fame and the girl plays Britney is incorrect. Anybody who knows Brit's history knows almost nothing in the movie happened to her. It's based on a different girl with a different name and the story was loosly inspired...not even based, from Britney's life and her relationship with her mom. Actually, the movie is based on a book that Britney wrote with her mother called "A Mother's Gift". That aside, it's a good movie. I wasn't even going to give it a chance, but I'm glad I did because it's a cute family movie and although corny at times (especially the ending) the characters are very dynamic and you really feel a conection to her and her mom in the movie and the sacrifices they make for each other. The one thing I thought that kinda brought the movie down was the parts that actually had something to do with Britney, oddly enough. Like the madonna posters in the room just like "crossroads" and the fact that Britney was this girls idol and she kept singing "Stronger". These things weren't in the book and it's way too predistable and cliche for the producers of the movie to include them."

"This is a wonderful movie and I love everything about it. I think it was a great movie for family to see and talk about. That is all I have to say."
Loved The Movie

"I found the movie rather cute. Of course if any movie has dancing or singing, I'll automatically love it. :) But the lip synching was pretty obvious in most parts. And from that, it makes you wonder who exactly can REALLY sing. Oh well, I still love the movie and I think it's worth the watch.
