The plot thickens....

"After kissing Rui Hanazawa on the beach at the end of disc 5, Tsukushi finally has her shot at what she alway wanted...Rui. But when she gets to go on a date with him, is it really what she wants? Are there some dreams that should never be realized?
I can't quite put a handle on this series. I know that I love it, that parts easy enough. But why? I'm not really sure. The animation is...interesting. It's not quite the animation I usually go for. None of the characters are really that pretty, etc. It's not quite as nice to look at as the animation of Sailor Moon, or any series by Clamp. The music is gorgeous, though I'm not sure if that would be enough to make me like this series.
The characters are slightly odd, in my opinion. There is really only one TRUE character in this story, and that is Tsukushi. I feel that everyone else is a little over the top. Sure, Rui is quiet and withdrawn, but who just falls asleep in the middle of a date...in the middle of the afternoon? Sure Tsukasa is a hothead...but what self-respecting man threatens to mess up a girl's face so bad that plastic surgery could never fix it. And Sakurako...well, let's just say that all of the characters seem like charactertures of themselves. And you would think that this would be a turnoff. But it's not.
Just like the over the top melodrama of the plot, the characters who fit TOO nicely into stereotypes still ring true. You still find yourself drawn to Rui, the way Tsukushi is, wanting to be the one who frees him from whatever prison of misery he has locked himself in. You still are intrigued by Tsukasa, who for all his money and looks, isn't perfect after all. You find yourself sympathizing with Tsukushi, who has been exiled for one mistake.
And that, is why this series keeps me hooked. Sure, it takes some amount of suspending disbelief to believe that things are truly as they are presented. But at the heart of it all, it is an honest story. Of love, of friendship, of finding out how to be yourself, and of finding that some dreams are only meant to be just that."
Keeps getting better

"I can't wait for this dvd to come out. the most I know about it is that the title of each episode if there are indeed four on this disc are as follows:
1.Crime and punishment of the Kiss
2.First date at the seaside
3.Doumyouji Tsubaki comes home!
4.Love's tempest! banished from school
We get to see Tsukasa's sister and Rui get's punched in the face by Tsukasa That's reason enough to buy it."
