"Jean-Marie Pallardy made a career out of making some of the best Euro-exploitation films of the 70's, and some of the sh#ttiest of the 80's. This one, along with 'Diary Of A Lumberjack' (who comes up with these ridiculous titles?) are among his finest, as there`s copious amounts of nudity every five minutes, and that's the main reason we watch them, isn't it? It sure ain't 'cause they've got a complex plot, large budget, big names or CGI effects now, is it? In this one, the village notary, who's also the village pervert, needs to wed in order to quell the rumors of his infamous taste for orgies and devient behavior. Sweet Evelyne succumbs to his advances, attracted to his considerable fortune. But she also entertains a sapphic relationship with someone who isn't too pleased about this arrangement, and that's when the fun starts. Based on true events, this film caused Pallardy serious judiciary and financial problems, not that we care as long as he delivers the goods... remastered and also includes a 60 minute featurette, 'The Erotic Journal Of Jean-Marie Pallardy', as well as 100 great photographs from the director's private collection, which are well-worth the coin alone..."
