The Greatest Rock And Roll Band In The World.

"With that being said, this dvd is incredible, with little faults. The cinematography is absolutely brilliant. At times I felt like I was watching "The song remains the same'and 'ladies and gentlemen..'It's that good. The band does not perform like a 'band', but more like an arsenal.Luther Dickinsen (I spell that right?)does a wonderful job on guitar, making me forget about 'Mr. Ford'for a bit.Rich Robinson=PURE menace.Chris Robinson is simply put, ON POINT.My sister came in when this was on and she asked me 'Is that Jesus?'I said no, but he's got him in him.'The audio on this is simply awesome, between the 5.1 and the stereo, this is worth repeated viewings and simply a MUST HAVE."
The Black Crowes "Warpaint" = A Great New Concert Release!!!

"VERY OUTSTANDING!!! This is a "super", outstanding concert performance by the Black Crowes, filmed on March 20, 2008, at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles. It features songs from their recent "WARPAINT" Album, performed "Live". Plus, as an extra bonus, you get Luther Dickinson (the lead singer/lead guitarist for the North Mississippi Allstars) playing guitar, including great slide guitar play. This concert contains 17 GREAT songs. It is great from beginning to the end. It has an approximate running time of 103 minutes.
The line-up consists of the following:
Chris Robinson - vocals, harmonica, guitar
Rich Robinson - guitar, vocals
Luther Dickinson - guitar, including great, slide guitar play.
Adam MacDougal - keyboard player
Steve Gorman - drums, percussion
Sven Pipien - bass, vocals
Charity White - backing vocals
Mona Lisa Young - backing vocals
The song set is as follows:
1. Goodbye Ye Daughters of the Revolution
2. Walk Believer Walk
3. Oh Josephine
4. Evergreen
5. Wee Who See the Deep
6. Locust Street
7. Movin' on Down the Line
8. Wounded Bird
9. God's Got It
10.There's Gold in Them Hills
11.Whoa Mule
12.Poor Elijah/Tribute to Johnson (Medley)
13.Darling of the Underground Press
14.Bad Luck Blue Eyes Goodbye
15.Don't Know Why
16.Torn & Frayed (A Mick Jagger/Keith Richards song)
17.Hey Grandma
Overall, this is an outstanding concert, showcasing the Black Crowes at their best. It's great to see Luther Dickinson in the line-up, playing guitar, including excellent slide guitar play. Rich is also a great guitarist, and Chris is great on lead vocals. The rest of the band is great also. This is a "must-have" for any Black Crowes fan, or any Southern Rock fan, or any Rock fan period!!! I'm certainly a big fan!!! I highly, gladly recommend this one. If you like rock & roll, you'll love every minute of this one!!! Thanks and Enjoy!!!"

"great quality dvd by the crowes again and a great performance. the only problem is that the dts audio option hiccups when you switch between songs. it looks like if you go to the dts option from the menu screen you should be ok. if you switch audio when your watching the dvd, you might get this problem. great show!! if you're a fan, get this!"
