"I am the present pastor of Grass Creek United Methodist Church. It's the only church in Grass Creek, Indiana. I came after the filming was completed. The movie was shot on several locations in our area. The church used was actually Fletcher's Lake UMC because of it's location. The movie was wonderful! Many of our own locals were featured and we enjoyed viewing the movie with some who acted in it. They gave us background information. This is a movie that the whole family can enjoy. I can't wait to get my copy. I'm sorry it didn't do better in the theaters. It should win an award. My son is a film studies student at IU and said it was one of the best films he's seen in a long time. Kudos to all who were involved."

"I saw The Best Man of Grass Creek when it premiered in Indiana. What a breath of fresh air. This is a movie with an old-fahioned love theme in the styles of the 1950s movies. It's clean, wholesome and thoroughly enjoyable! Set in a rural Indiana farm setting, the characters are real and captured my heart. (It was filmed on location and used lots of locals who were great in their parts!) Humorous? wait till you see the dinner table scene! And the musical score is fantastic. I found myself humming the tune all the way home. This movie keeps you wondering what's around the corner. Never a dull moment. DEFINITELY a must see movie. Enjoy!!!"

"I grew up near Grass Creek. Yes there really is a real town called Grass Creek. I was thrilled to get to see all the local people I grew up knowing, in this movie. Including my mom, two aunts, brother, the Pastor of our home church(the guy with the grin on his face that worked at the Indianapolis Star who tried to out do Adam)and a variety of other people. It is a great movie. I appreaciate the wholesomeness of it,it's a family film. I was dissappointed that it didn't do as well as "The John's" had hoped it would. I thank them for giving us a wonderful film to take our families to see. It is so very funny. Including the boar's head on the our church wall and Dave with his goofy grin running through the hot coals, or Chris's cows eating the wedding cake. This also gave the community something great to do and anticipate. They all had a ball filming this movie. THANKS FOR A GREAT MOVIE>>>>"
