"Though the prices on this set are fine, you'll find that How to Stuff a Wild Bikini is in full screen format. BBB is widescreen. Not sure what happened as the package shows that both movies are widescreen. Since How to Stuff is one of the lesser entries in the beach series, I'll probably forego anger and most likely will not buy a used copy of the single edition (might be the same problem).
I bought all of the main Beach Movies at once. Having grown up seeing the full screen version on TV I was looking forward to widescreen.
Sorry to not give a lot of details on content. I wanted to get the widescreen info out there ASAP."

"Beach Blanket Bingo takes our beach crew from the surf to the skies as Frankie and Annette try their hand at skydiving. Some hot singer chick called Sugar Cane is doing publicity stunts at the beach, accompanied by a sleazy, yet funny journalist. She kinda digs Frankie(and what red blooded american girl doesn't?), but he seems to lose interest in her rather quick. One of the skydiving instructors has her eye on Frankie, but he brushes her off as well. There is a bit of the typical Frankie/Annette jealousy game, but Frankie seems more committed to his girl this time around. Bonehead(formerly "Deadhead" in the previous films. Don't ask me why they decided to change his name) falls head over heels for a mermaid, even refusing the advances of Sugar Cane. Our old pal Eric Von Zipper(still unable to control a motorcycle) becomes enthralled with Sugar Cane and whisks her away to his poolhall hangout. Sugar Cane actually seems to enjoy Von Zipper's company. Poolhall regular South Dakota Slim proves he's a bigger villain than Von Zipper, and kidnaps Sugar Cane with the intent to actually kill her!! Soon, the race is on to find and save Sugar Cane. Frankie, Annette, Von Zipper, Don Rickles(who runs the skydiving joint), film legend Buster Keaton(who hangs out with a smokin' hot blonde), and a bunch more all team together to help. Typical beach party goofiness. And fun!!
Apparently they couldn't get Frankie Avalon to be the star of How To Stuff A Wild Bikini, but they manage to get him in a few brief scenes. Frankie is in the Navy now, I guess, and he's stationed on some island in the South Pacific. While cradled in the arms of a hot native chick he wonders if Annette is being faithful to him back home. He enlists the help of a witchdoctor, played by a funny Buster Keaton. Keaton will keep an eye on Annette(in the form of a spy pelican) and send an irresitable hot chick to the beach so the men will all be preoccupied with her and leave Annette alone. Keaton sends Cassandra, a knockout redhead who captures the hearts of Bonehead and the rest of the gang. She's spotted by Mickey Rooney who wants her to be a model. Rooney's partner doesn't fall under Cassandra's spell, but is instead smitten with Annette. Cassandra tries for the model deal, but her big drawback(Keaton screwed up the spell when he created her) is that she's a total klutz around men. The solution? Team her up with another klutz, and the power of two klutzes evens out. Who's the klutz? Why Eric Von Zipper of course! Von Zipper even trades in his leather biker look for a more high falootin suit wearing look. Another villain is introduced as well. Remember good ol South Dakota Slim who hung around the poolhall? This time around it's his evil brother North Dakota Pete. He joins up with Von Zipper's crew. Meanwhile, Annette is still getting pressure from this dude who just won't give up. She constantly tells him she's waiting for Frankie, yet continues to go out on dates with this guy! As soon as she hears about Frankie's native girl on the island, she's ready to give up the goods! She eventually manages to scare the guy away with her marriage talk she loves so much. The film climax is a motorcycle race to determine who will ultimately get the modelling job.
Well, these are Beach Party movies. So you know that there will be jealousy games with Frankie and Annette. You know that there will be lots of dancing and musical numbers sung against a bluescreen beach setting. You know Eric Von Zipper will "give himself the finger". You know there will be a big sped up chase scene, and ultimately in the end everyone will be happy and in love. Interesting observation: In both films Annette is fully clothed. She's the only kid on the beach without a bathing suit. Tis a pity coz she's hotter than a Friday night fish fry. I don't see the point quite frankly. Oh well, it's still a trip to the beach worth takin'."

"I received my DVD the other day and watched both movies and enjoyed them very much. A few of the reviews here state "Wild Bikini" is full screen. My copy is WIDESCREEN as stated on the package. I don't know if they changed the format or what but BOTH of my movies are in widescreen as is shown on the dvd case."
