This wasn't as good as the first one and it was kind of confusing.

In the sequel to the '85 fantasy hit, Marty and Doc Brown zig-zag between 1955, 1985, and 2015 to repair damage to the space-time continuum caused by their previous adventure. The future is a scary place when Marty learns his stepfather is none other than the villainous Biff Tannen!!!
"BTTF II" may not be as good as the original but it's still action packed and pretty damn funny in its own right.
The segments set in the "future" of 2015 are a particular hoot since that's now only two years away... and we still don't have hoverboards, self tying shoes or flying cars, damn it!!

Movie Reviews
THE MOST EPISODE COMPLEX OF THE TRILOGY

"IN A NUTSHELL: DOES WHAT A TIME TRAVEL MOVIE IS SUPPOSED TO DO!
This sequel of the superb "Back To The Future" is a very earnest attempt to follow a winning formula up with a truly worthwhile effort in this sequel. Complex, yes, but interesting. Unfortunately, at times it gets a bit too mechanically contrived with the time sequence derivations, and I find myself mentally checking the continuity which detracts from the theme. Nevertheless, if you liked the first "Back To The Future" you will probably enjoy this movie. All the characters are present from the original and they are playing multiple generations almost simultaneously. After all, isn't that what a time travel ovie is supposed to do?

Best of the 3

"I am a big fan of the Back to the Future series, and I think the second one is the best. This one starts out where Marty McFly has recently returned from the 50's and is about to start relaxing when..................Doc Brown comes in and tells Marty he has to go to the future with him to save one of his future kids. While in the futur, Marty takes the place of his son, who looks like him, and tell's Biff's grandson he does not want to particapate in whatever get Marty's son in trouble. After that is settled Marty buys a sports almanac. He plans to go back to the 80's and win money on predictions (or already-known-answers) from the book. But, Biff steals the book, steals the time machine, goes to the 50's, gives young Biff the book, and soon Biff becomes powerful, rich, and married to Marty's mother. So now Marty has to go back to the 50's, get the book back, and safely return to the 80's without screwing anything up. How? Watch this GREAT movie to find out!"
Highly Recommended!

"Marty McFly and Doctor Emmett Brown travels to the future to prevent Marty's future son from facing jail time. They ultimately succeed, and when they travel back to the present (1985), they find everything to be entirely different than the way they left it. They find the source of this problem, and they must fix it in order to return 1985 to it's former state.Highly enternaining with some humour and great special effects makes this a great film. I like the fact that some scenes from Part 1 are incorporated in this movie. This incorporation is what makes this movie very entartaining... especially the scenes where we see two Martys, or two Doc Browns. I would highly recommend this movie!"
Why Was This The Best Science Fiction Movie Ever Made?

"Well, there are five reasons. The first four are found in the review of the DVD set of all five; here is the last one:
5. Gestalt. Call it what you want, but consider the conceptual continuity of these three movies. 1985 remained the "present" for all the films, right? Even this one and BTTF3, made some years later, preserved 1985 as the fulcrum year.
Quick quiz: of all the eras depicted, which one was the best: 1885, 1955, 1985 or 2015? Tough question, given that there were at least three distinct 1985s, etc.
But look: even the "best" 1985 was, in significant ways, not as good as 2015. Our predicates, then, are that obstacles can be overcome, the past reinvented as needed, and, most importantly, "the future is what you make it."
I've found no clearer demonstration of a fundamentally optimistic philosophy in any movie I ever saw. Even though these films intentionally avoid sentimentality (all right, you could argue that), they express a relentless optimism that enables characters and, derivately, ourselves, to take charge of our situations, invent new solutions and fulfill Doc Brown's mandate.
You cannot leave the movies without feeling more empowered about your own life. And it does not get any better than that."
The Best of the three.
